SEED Cell on January 6 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chungcheongnam-do Job and Economic Promotion Agency (CEPA) of South Korea, aimed at enhancing business ties between Sikkim, India, and South Korea. The MOU was officially signed by Seungchang Ha, Chief Representative of CEPA, and Raj Lama, Chief Coordinator of SEED Cell, in a ceremony held at the CEPA Business Centre in Gurugram.
The partnership outlines key areas of mutual cooperation, focusing on promoting investment and fostering collaborations between industries in Sikkim and South Korea. Both organizations have committed to connecting companies in both countries for potential business ventures, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
Ha and Lama expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting its potential to bridge the business gap between the two regions. “This agreement will pave the way for greater economic cooperation and provide avenues for mutual growth,” said Lama, while Ha spoke about the importance of cross-border partnerships in strengthening economic ties.
