Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series is set to launch on January 22, 2025, but one notable entry, the Galaxy S25 Slim, may arrive much later. Rumored to compete directly with Apple's iPhone 17 Air, the Slim variant is designed for users seeking a sleek, compact smartphone without sacrificing premium features.
Leaked reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Slim will debut in the second quarter of 2025, between April and June. This delay is supported by findings in Samsung’s One UI 7 beta, which includes model numbers for the initial lineup but omits the Slim variant.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature a slim profile under 7mm while housing an impressive 4,700 to 5,000mAh battery, thanks to advanced silicon-carbon anode battery technology. It is also rumored to sport a 6.66-inch display and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
On the camera front, the device could boast a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. Samsung’s innovative ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology is likely to enhance the telephoto capabilities, ensuring the phone's slim design doesn’t compromise image quality.
