Raju Bista, along with Mansukh Mandaviya and Tejasvi Surya announces 'Namo Yuva Run'

To promote fitness and social awareness among the youth, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista announced the launch of the "Namo Yuva Run" today. The event was unveiled in the presence of Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and BJYM President Tejasvi Surya.

Speaking about the initiative, Bista said, "Today, I had the pleasure of joining Hon'ble Union Sports Minister Sh. Mansukh Mandaviya ji, and Hon'ble BJYM President Sh. Tejasvi Surya ji in announcing 'Namo Yuva Run'." He added that the event is a special way to celebrate the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The "Namo Yuva Run," scheduled for September 21, 2025, will see over 10 lakh youths participating simultaneously across 75 locations in India. The initiative aims to honor PM Modi’s youth-focused leadership while inspiring citizens to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Fitness icon and renowned actor Milind Soman has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the nationwide event.

The run will also focus on creating awareness for a "Nasha Mukt Bharat – Drugs Free India," combining the spirit of fitness with social responsibility under the #FitIndia movement. Raju Bista emphasized that the young participants’ efforts will serve as a special birthday gift to the Prime Minister, while also sensitizing millions of citizens about the importance of fitness and a drug-free life.
