To ensure perfect preparations for the much-anticipated visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Power Department of Sikkim conducted a detailed inspection of lighting arrangements along the key stretch from MG Marg to Paljor Stadium today.

Leading the inspection was Hon’ble MLA and Advisor to the Power Department, Sanjeet Kharel, accompanied by Chief Engineer S.T. Bhutia, Deputy Engineer Bhanu Sharma, Junior Engineers, and other departmental officials. The team carried out a comprehensive review of the illumination setup, which is a crucial element for the grand celebrations planned as Sikkim commemorates its 50th year of Statehood.
