The Poco M7 Pro 5G, priced starting at Rs 14,999, is making a strong case for itself in the affordable smartphone market. While not without its flaws, it delivers where it counts, with a vibrant display, solid performance, and good battery life, making it a great option for those seeking value for money.

Poco has kept its signature design language, but with thoughtful improvements over the M6 Pro. The M7 Pro boasts a two-tone finish and curves around the corners, providing a more comfortable grip. The Lavender Frost color, while unconventional, stands out with a subtle elegance. Weighing in at 190g and measuring 8mm thick, the phone feels lighter and sleeker than its specs suggest, offering a premium touch in a budget segment.

The M7 Pro features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. This vibrant display is one of the phone's standout features, offering rich colors and smooth scrolling. Whether you're watching videos, gaming, or browsing, the screen delivers an enjoyable experience, with the added benefit of an in-display fingerprint sensor for convenience.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, built on a 6nm fabrication process, the M7 Pro offers smooth multitasking and gaming performance. Available in two variants—6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage—this phone can handle most day-to-day tasks with ease. However, it does fall short of offering Android 15, as it ships with HyperOS based on Android 14.

The Poco M7 Pro sports a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary rear camera, paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and a 20MP front camera. While the camera performs well in well-lit conditions, it doesn’t deliver the best results in low light. Nonetheless, for its price, the camera setup is decent, and selfies turn out clear and sharp.

With a 5,110mAh battery, the M7 Pro offers solid endurance, easily lasting a full day with moderate usage. It also supports 45W fast charging, with the charger included in the box, ensuring quick top-ups.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G offers great value for money, combining a stylish design, impressive display, and solid performance. While the camera could use some improvements, and the lack of Android 15 might be a downside for some, the overall package is well-rounded for the price. If you're looking for an affordable 5G phone that doesn’t compromise on the essentials, the Poco M7 Pro is certainly worth considering.
