In preparation for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sikkim, a high-level review meeting was held this morning at the Conference Hall of Tashiling Secretariat in Gangtok. The meeting was chaired jointly by Chief Administrator cum Cabinet Secretary V. B. Pathak and Chief Secretary R. Telang.

The meeting was attended by senior government officials, heads of departments, and other key administrative officers of the state. The main focus of the meeting was to review and finalize the detailed arrangements for the Prime Minister's visit, which is expected to be of great significance for Sikkim.

Top on the agenda were discussions related to logistics and security. Officials stressed the importance of ensuring a smooth and secure visit, with detailed planning for the Prime Minister's movements, accommodation, transport routes, and public engagements. Security agencies and related departments have been directed to coordinate closely and ensure all protocols are followed to the highest standard.

The meeting also discussed the cultural programme that will be presented during the Prime Minister’s visit. It will showcase Sikkim’s unique traditions and heritage, including local music, dance, and art forms. Officials emphasized that the programme should reflect the rich cultural identity of Sikkim and offer a warm welcome to the Prime Minister.
