The 1st Sikkim Open International Karate Championship 2025 is set to witness the participation of over 700 athletes from across the globe. The event will take place at the Indoor Hall of Paljor Stadium, Gangtok from January 28 to 30.

The Championship will be inaugurated by Sikkim's Sports Minister, Raju Basnet, while the closing ceremony will be graced by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang.

Organized by the Sikkim State Karate Do Association, the event is being held under the Chief Patronage of MLA Lok Nath Sharma. The championship aims to showcase exceptional karate talent while fostering international camaraderie through sports.
