Moto Parade kicks off Namchi Rankey Mela 2025 with enthusiastic riders from across Sikkim

The Namchi Rankey Mela 2025 began with high energy and great excitement as Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang flagged off a grand Moto Parade at Ridge Park on Tuesday morning. The event marked the beginning of the much-awaited cultural fair and was attended by a large number of motorbike riders and visitors from different parts of the state.
The parade saw enthusiastic participation from men and women riders who came from various registered motorcycle clubs spread across Sikkim. Dressed in colourful riding gear and proudly waving flags, the bikers filled the streets of Namchi with roaring engines and vibrant energy.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang said, “I am delighted to flag off the Moto Parade this morning at Ridge Park as part of the Namchi Rankey Mela 2025 celebrations. It is wonderful to see such spirited participation from our young riders. Their excitement and passion are truly infectious.”
What made this year’s Moto Parade even more special was the presence of well-known moto-vloggers from neighbouring Nepal and Assam. Their participation added a cross-border charm to the event and brought in more attention from biking enthusiasts and social media followers across the region.
The Chief Minister extended a warm welcome to the guest riders and vloggers and wished everyone a safe and memorable journey ahead. “We are pleased to welcome moto-vloggers from Nepal and Assam, which adds to the excitement and spirit of the ride. I wish all riders a safe journey and hope they create unforgettable memories during the mela,” he added.
