Man held with drugs in Namchi; major seizure by Temi Police

Temi Police Station conducted a successful operation at Lower Namphing, Adarsh Goan, in Namchi district, leading to the seizure of a large quantity of suspected illegal substances. The accused has been identified as 29-year-old Vivek Gurung, also known as Pakawray, son of Dhan Kumar Gurung, and a resident of the same area.

Acting on credible information, the Temi Police team launched a swift and well-coordinated raid which resulted in the recovery of the illicit substances from Gurung’s possession. Officials confirmed that a case has been formally registered against him under the Sikkim Anti-Drugs Act (SADA), and he has been taken into custody for further investigation.
