Man arrested near GREF camp Martam for possession of suspected brown sugar

Acting on a tip-off, local authorities arrested a man identified as Bishan Chettri, 32, son of Govind Chettri and resident of GREF Camp Martam, for illegal possession of a suspected narcotic substance.
About 32 grams of a brown-colored powder, believed to be brown sugar, was recovered near GREF Camp Martam during the search. Following the recovery, a formal case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
