Mahendra Subba has officially taken charge as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gangtok District, succeeding Tenzing Loden Lepcha, who has been promoted to Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Gangtok Range.
During his tenure as Senior SP, Lepcha was instrumental in ensuring law and order, earning praise for his proactive leadership and crisis management across the district.
Tenzing Loden Lepcha is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 2012 batch from the Sikkim cadre. Prior to this promotion, he served as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Gangtok District.
