The much-anticipated final match, played near Metro Point in Gangtok, marked the grand conclusion of the event, drawing large crowds of snooker enthusiasts and local supporters.
The tournament, organised by the youth-led 147 Snooker Sports Club, was envisioned as a platform to promote snooker as an alternative sport for the young generation in Sikkim. With the sport steadily gaining popularity in the state, the competition saw wide participation and created a festive sporting atmosphere.
The organisers offered attractive prizes, with Kunga receiving ₹45,000 as the champion and Badal securing ₹35,000 as the runner-up. The cash rewards, coupled with the spirit of competition, motivated participants and showcased the growing appeal of cue sports among Sikkimese youth.
