Kuldip Chettri appointed Chairman of Sikkim Public Service Commission

He will serve a tenure of six years or until he reaches the age of 62, whichever comes earlier.

Kuldip Chettri has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC). His appointment was made by the Governor of Sikkim under Article 316(1) of the Constitution of India. He will serve a tenure of six years or until he reaches the age of 62, whichever comes earlier.

Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang extended his congratulations to Kuldip Chettri, recognizing his dedication and commitment to public service. In his message, the Chief Minister praised Chettri’s integrity and leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to uphold the highest standards in the Commission.

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to Shri Kuldip Chettri on his well-deserved appointment as the Chairman of the Sikkim Public Service Commission. His dedication and commitment to transparency in public service have been commendable. I am confident that under his leadership, the Commission will continue to function efficiently and ensure a bright future for aspiring candidates,” said CM Tamang.

Kuldip Chettri, a retired Secretary in the Government of Sikkim, has previously served as a member of the SPSC. His extensive experience in administration and governance is expected to further strengthen the Commission’s role in shaping a competent workforce for the state.
