PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Phodong recently conducted pace-setting activities in government schools of Sikkim, focusing on enhancing community participation and fostering a vibrant academic and cultural atmosphere.
One of the key objectives of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme is to establish JNVs as role models in school education within their respective districts. Through various pace-setting activities, JNVs aim to inspire and uplift other schools by creating an engaging academic, social, and cultural environment.
As part of this initiative, JNV Phodong organized drawing and painting competitions at Government Junior High School Namok and Government Junior High School Swayem, Mangan. These activities provided students with a platform to express their creativity and develop artistic skills.
The event was conducted under the able leadership of JNV Phodong’s Principal, Mrs. Shilpa Herald Harry, with the active involvement of Subhash Sharma (TGT Nepali) and Mr. Sunil Kashyap (TGT Art). Their efforts played a crucial role in making the activities engaging and impactful for the students.
