The Gyalpu Losar Celebration 2025, marking the Tibetan New Year, concluded with a grand ceremony at Bakhim Government Primary School ground in Ravangla, under 09 Barfung Constituency, Namchi District. Organized by the Bakhim Sherpa Association, the event showcased the rich cultural traditions of the Sherpa community, drawing widespread participation from the local populace and dignitaries.

The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay as the Chief Guest, along with several eminent personalities, including Speaker of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly M.N. Sherpa, Barfung Constituency MLA Rikshal Dorjee Bhutia, Rinchenpong Constituency MLA Erung Tenzing Lepcha, Former MLA S. Bhutia, SBS Managing Director P. Wangdi Bhutia, and Government Contractor Tashi Gyalpo Bhutia. Their presence added significance to the event, reflecting the state's commitment to preserving and celebrating its diverse cultural heritage.
