Marking a momentous occasion on the 50th Anniversary of Sikkim’s Statehood Day, the Governor of Sikkim inaugurated a newly constructed Conference Hall and Auditorium within the Raj Bhavan premises. The ceremony added a landmark feature to the historic estate, reflecting both functional growth and symbolic progress.
Speaking at the event, the Governor emphasized that the new infrastructure represents more than just physical development. “This initiative is a significant step towards the overall development of Raj Bhavan. The discussions and meetings held in this hall will not only shape administrative strategies but also contribute meaningfully to the welfare of our society,” he remarked.
The inauguration was a part of the Statehood Day celebrations and was organized by Raj Bhavan, Sikkim. The Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Mr. Jitendra Singh Raje, along with officers and staff from the Raj Bhavan family, were present at the ceremony. The event was held with solemn dignity, reflecting the importance of both the occasion and the addition to the administrative infrastructure.
