Under the able guidance of Area MLA Smt. Pamin Lepcha, a one-day Ayush Outreach Health Camp was held today at Rolep Primary Health Sub-Centre (PHSC), aimed at improving healthcare access for residents of the 21-Gnathang Machong Constituency. The camp was organized by the National Ayush Mission, Pakyong District, in collaboration with the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim.

The camp offered a broad range of free medical services, drawing a strong turnout from the local community. Health screenings and consultations were provided for various non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including blood pressure, diabetes, anemia, and tuberculosis (TB). Participants also underwent checks for body mass index (BMI), height, weight, hemoglobin levels, random blood sugar (RBS), along with dental and vision tests.

In addition, a Mobile Village Clinic was set up on-site to deliver free Ayurvedic consultations and medicines. The camp also facilitated registration for key government health programs, such as ABHA ID and PMJAY (Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance), helping many beneficiaries gain easier access to healthcare services.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups, who benefited from the dedicated efforts of the medical team. Expressing gratitude, the community praised MLA Smt. Pamin Lepcha for her unwavering dedication to enhancing healthcare facilities and services in the region.
