Rabong is abuzz with energy and enthusiasm as the Discover Rabong Cho-Dzo Fest (State Level) 2025 continues to draw crowds and foster community spirit. Now in its third day, the festival—dedicated to celebrating nature, culture, adventure, and sports—is witnessing spirited participation and growing excitement.
A major attraction of the ongoing celebrations has been the Intra-Sikkim Volleyball Tournament 2025, which is being held at the Rabong New Market ground under the banner of the Cho-Dzo Fest. On the second day of matches, Team Daramdin clinched a thrilling win over Phamtam in a closely contested game that had spectators on the edge of their seats. In the day’s second scheduled match, Team Sikkim Police was awarded a walkover victory against Lovism Sporting, adding to the tournament’s evolving dynamics.
The festival is officially slated to run from April 11 to April 16, but pre-fest activities like the volleyball tournament have already infused the town with festive fervor. One of the most awaited highlights of the main event will be the inaugural edition of the Chief Minister’s Gold Cup Open Volleyball Tournament, which is expected to draw top teams and spectators from across the state.
