DISHA meeting in Mangan focuses on governance and scheme implementation

The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting for Mangan district was convened under the chairmanship of Lok Sabha MP Dr. Indra Hang Subba. The session saw the presence of Social Welfare Minister and MLA of 31-Lachen Mangan Constituency Samdup Lepcha, District Collector Anant Jain and senior officials from various departments.
The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation of central government schemes and identifying key challenges. Departments presented progress reports, which were closely reviewed by the committee. Dr. Subba stressed the need for maintaining accurate data and ensuring seamless coordination among implementing agencies.
Minister Samdup Lepcha highlighted specific issues pertaining to his constituency, urging officials to adopt a proactive approach, particularly in rural areas. He called for timely redressal of developmental bottlenecks.
