Darjeeling MP Raju Bista acts quickly to help Sikkim girl in distress in Delhi

A troubling video showing a young girl from Sikkim crying and seeking justice in Delhi recently caught the attention of many concerned citizens. The emotional clip sparked widespread worry among people who wanted to know if the girl was safe and if her problems would be addressed.
Upon learning about the video, Raju Bista, Member of Parliament from Darjeeling and National Spokesperson of the BJP, quickly reached out to Delhi Police officials to understand the situation better. The police assured him that both parties involved in the matter had agreed to resolve their differences mutually.
Further, the Special Police Unit for North Eastern Region (SPUNER) of the Delhi Police stepped in to ensure the girl's safety. Officers and volunteers from this special unit accompanied the girl, often referred to as Bini from Sikkim, back to her home safely.
Raju Bista expressed his gratitude toward the police and volunteers, saying, “I thank all those who were concerned for her safety, and I am also grateful to SPUNER, Delhi Police and their volunteers for acting swiftly and assisting our sister in need.”
