As Sikkim marks 50 years of its statehood, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang delivered an emotional message to the people, calling the state “not just a place – but a feeling, a shared identity, and a collective pride.”
Reflecting on the golden jubilee celebrations, CM Tamang thanked the people of Sikkim for their heartfelt participation and support throughout the commemorative events. “This celebration was a beautiful reflection of that spirit,” he said, referring to the unity and enthusiasm displayed by citizens from all corners of the state.

From its historic transition to statehood to its present-day achievements in education, healthcare, tourism, and sustainability, Sikkim has come a long way.
