Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang warmly welcomed Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India, Manohar Lal, at Samman Bhawan on April 26. The Union Minister is on an official visit to Sikkim from April 25 to April 27, 2025.
Ahead of a dinner hosted in honour of the visiting dignitary, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and Union Minister Manohar Lal held a highly productive meeting. The leaders engaged in detailed discussions covering a wide range of topics, particularly focusing on the State’s ongoing development projects and future plans for enhancing infrastructure, power generation, housing, and urban development.
During the meeting, the Union Minister shared his valuable insights, offering encouragement and advice to support Sikkim’s growth journey. He expressed appreciation for the proactive initiatives taken by the Sikkim Government to ensure sustainable development while preserving the unique cultural and natural heritage of the State.
The Chief Minister, on behalf of the people and the Government of Sikkim, extended his gratitude to Union Minister Manohar Lal for taking the time to visit and witness the development activities firsthand.
