CAP Sikkim files Police complaint against Samson Tamang over defamatory remarks

A delegation from the Citizen Action Party (CAP) Sikkim has formally filed a police complaint against one Samson Tamang, who is facing widespread criticism for allegedly making defamatory and derogatory remarks against the Khas community. The complaint was lodged on Sunday evening by a team from CAP Sikkim, led by vice president Bhushan Adhikari and accompanied by other party members, including Prashant Babu Chettri, Prakash Parajuli, TR Nepal, Ongden Lepcha, Kiran Zimba, HB Rai, and Albert Gurung.
The delegation called for immediate and stringent action from the authorities, urging the arrest and penalization of Samson Tamang for his controversial statements. In a press statement, the CAP Sikkim demanded that the incident be thoroughly investigated, and the individual responsible be held accountable for his remarks, which they believe have deeply hurt the sentiments of the Khas community.
