BJP Sikkim Chief meets Amit Shah in Siliguri, discusses regional and organizational matters

BJP State President Dr. D.R. Thapa held a significant meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Siliguri today. The meeting coincided with the Home Minister’s visit to the city to attend the Raising Day celebrations of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

During the interaction, Dr. Thapa extended congratulations to the Home Minister for the BJP's resounding success in the recently concluded Maharashtra Assembly elections. “The victory reflects the party’s growing influence and commitment to the people,” Thapa said.

Several important matters were discussed in the meeting such as organizational matters related to BJP Sikkim, as well as pressing political and regional issues. Discussions emphasized the need to strengthen the party's presence in Sikkim while addressing key challenges faced by the region.
