The Badminton Association of Sikkim (BAS) held its first Executive Body Meeting today under the leadership of President-elect Shri Jacob Khaling. The meeting focused on strategic planning, event management, and membership engagement to boost the development of badminton in the state.
The newly elected members discussed the mission, vision, and objectives of BAS, emphasizing their commitment to promoting badminton at all levels. Key deliberations included organizing upcoming tournaments, training programs, and grassroots initiatives to nurture young players and enhance the sport’s reach across Sikkim.
Committee members were assigned responsibilities for planning and executing various events to ensure smooth implementation. The meeting also addressed communication and public relations strategies, with a focus on enhancing media outreach and strengthening BAS’s digital presence.
