Varun Dhawan's latest release, Baby John, has surpassed the ₹20-crore milestone at the domestic box office within four days of its release. Despite stiff competition from major films like Kichcha Sudeep's Max, Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, and Mufasa: The Lion King, the film has managed to hold its ground.
After a strong opening of ₹11.25 crore on its first day, Baby John saw a decline on Friday to ₹3.65 crore. However, Saturday brought a slight recovery, with the film earning an estimated ₹4.25 crore, bringing its total domestic net collection to ₹23.90 crore.
The movie recorded an overall occupancy of 14.64% for Hindi screenings nationwide on Saturday. Industry experts remain optimistic about the film's performance in the coming days, although it faces challenges from upcoming releases.
Directed by Kalees, Baby John features a star-studded cast, including Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff, with cameo appearances by Salman Khan and Sanya Malhotra. Co-produced by Atlee and Priya Atlee, the film blends action and drama, captivating audiences despite its mixed box office trajectory.
