After being appointed CLC President, Subash Subba vows to uphold CM Golay’s vision and strengthen grassroots leadership

Subash Subba was formally appointed as the President of the Constituency Level Committee (CLC) for the 29th Kabilungchok Constituency. The appointment was marked by a humble and heartfelt speech delivered in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), respected Area MLA and Advisor Shri Thenlay Tshering Bhutia, party dignitaries, and enthusiastic supporters from the region.

Standing before the gathering, Subash Subba expressed deep gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in him by the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) leadership. "This responsibility is not just a title—it is a mission," he said.

Subba paid special tribute to Hon’ble Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang for fostering a political environment that recognizes and empowers young and dynamic leaders. “Your trust in grassroots leadership inspires us to be more responsible, inclusive, and action-driven,” he said, acknowledging the Chief Minister’s vision for a more participatory and responsive governance model.

The newly appointed CLC President also credited Area MLA and Advisor Thenlay Tshering Bhutia for his unwavering guidance and encouragement. “Your confidence in my abilities has brought me to this point,” Subba said.
