‘Welcome to Sikkim’ sign board inaugurated at Atal Setu Bridge, Rangpo

MLA for 18-West Pendam Constituency and Advisor to the Land Revenue & Disaster Management, IT, and IPR Department, L. B. Das, officially inaugurated the ‘Welcome to Sikkim’ signboard at Atal Setu Bridge in Rangpo. The signboard, which also bears the phrase ‘Sunowlo, Samriddha ani Samantha Sikkim’, marks the gateway to the state.

Installed by the Rangpo Nagar Panchayat, the Sanjeev Khati, Vice-President Smt. Radha Pradhan, MEO Rangpo Shri Suren Kumar Tamang, and Councilors Pinku Kumar and Sanju Mangar were among the dignitaries in attendance, along with the staff of the Rangpo Nagar Panchayat.

In his remarks, L. B. Das highlighted the importance of the new signboard in promoting Rangpo as Sikkim’s entry point. He praised the Rangpo Nagar Panchayat for their dedication to beautifying the town and enhancing its image as the state’s gateway.
